Principles for using Rivowall

Note: this is a public product summary, not a substitute for a quote, data processing agreement, or an individual service agreement. Those documents govern the contractual arrangements.

Permitted use

Use Rivowall only for content you hold the necessary rights and permissions for. Do not share personal accounts, temporary account links, activation codes, or authentication details with anyone who isn’t authorized to have them.

Responsibilities

The organization decides who gets access, which roles they receive, and what content gets published. Rivowall supports review and publication controls, but the organization remains responsible for the content and the physical screen environment.

Player and offline use

An internet connection is required for activation, synchronization, and the first full download. Offline playback only applies to content the player has fully received and verified. A web player is not a guarantee of power availability, physical hardware, or a continuously running browser.

Availability and changes

Maintenance, hosting outages, browser limitations, and external sources can affect the service. Concrete service levels, support, contract duration, termination, and financial arrangements are set out exclusively in the agreement with the organization.

Facebook and Instagram content sources

Connecting a Facebook Page or professional Instagram account to pull posts into a playlist is optional and requires the organization owner’s explicit consent through Meta’s login flow. The organization is responsible for having the rights to redisplay that content on its screens and for disconnecting the account when access should end. See the Privacy policy for how that data is handled and how to remove access.
